Have you sent a handmade card to a friend lately? Fill it with the message of all the things that make them special. It will make their day!
The greeting for this card comes from the To a Wild Rose stamp set. When I started out with this layout in mind, I knew I needed a large greeting to layer over the bouquets. This sentiment is perfect!
First I folded a base of Misty Moonlight. Then I took a piece of Just Jade and dry embossed the card stock with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. Next I attached the embossed paper to my base using Stampin’ Seal. Those steps completed the base of the card.
The next step is stamping. Stamp the bouquets with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Whisper White card stock. Next, stamp the sentiment on Whisper White with Misty Moonlight ink. Then color the blooms with the coloring tool of your choice. I used 2020 In Color Blends that are part of the Flowers for Every Season Suite along with a couple other coordinating colors.
Now cut out your images. Run the sentiment through your die cutting machine with the Tasteful Labels dies. Then fussy cut the bouquets. Attach both bouquets to your base using Stampin” Dimensionals. Next lay a strip of Bumblebee Gingham ribbon down securing it with Stampin’ Seal. Finally, layer the sentiment on top of the ribbon adhering it with dimensionals.
The most important part is to send your card off to a friend and make their day!
