Welcome to the Stampers By the Dozen Blog Hop! November 2020
This month the theme was Decorations/Decor. Sarah and I decided to make a 9″ square sampler to highlight the Stampin’ Up DSP Trimming the Town.
The Designer Series Paper makes it easy to create a project like this.
The white shadow box frame is from IKEA and is called a SANNAHED. It only costs $4.99 so this also makes this project super affordable.
For the base of this project we cut the red and white polka-dot sheet 9″X9″ to be attached to the frame matt. The next layer was a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 square.
The bottom rectangle is a base made of Old Olive 8 1/4 x 3 1/2. We cut a part of the winter scene DSP 8 X 3 1/4 to capture part of the road and decorated it by fussy cutting out the trees and adding the blue house with dimensionals. The little red car with the tree was stamped in black and colored with Poppy Parade Blends. the car was also popped up with dimensionals.
The upper left rectangle starts with a base of Poppy Parade 4 3/4 X 5 1/2. We used the dies in the Coming Home bundle to make the snowy hills and some stamps and DSP to make the winter wonderland. The houses and trees were stamped and colored in Poppy Parade and Old Olive.
The upper right rectangle 2 3/4 X 4 3/4 Pool Party paper. We used the dies again and Old Olive paper to create the greener side of the hill. The house and accents are from the DSP and the sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The stamp is from the Wrapped in Christmas set.
Thanks for hopping!!! Now on to the next project!
