Welcome to the April Stampers By the Dozen Blog Hop! Flowers! Perfect theme for the 3 inches of snow that fell last night.

Sarah and I made 2 cards for the  blog hop this time. Super simple cards featuring the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.  These cards can also be made with just stamps, ink, and paper.

I started with a 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ piece of card stock and scored it at 4 1/4″ to create the card bases.

For the Birthdays are the Best Days card, I cut a piece of Coastal Cabana (5 x 3-3/4) and mounted that on a smaller piece of Whisper White (4-3/4 x 3-1/2).

I used the masking technique to stamp the flowers on the Whisper White.

I used the Everyday Label Punch to make the label from White and Coastal Cabana scraps.  Glitter enamel dots were added last.

For the So Very Happy To Know You card, I cut a piece of Seaside Spray (4 x 3-3/4) and then mounted a piece of Whisper White over that (3-3/4 x 3-1/2).  These were then mounted on the So Saffron base toward the top leaving 1/8″ gap around left, right and top sides.

I used the masking technique to stamp the flowers on the Whisper White.

For the sentiment, I used a scrap piece of Seaside Spray (4 x 1-1/4) and mounted a piece of Whisper White on top (3-3/4 x 1).  I stamped the sentiment on the right side and used a piece of Seaside Spray 1/4″ metallic ribbon to dress up the left.

Rhinestone jewels were added to finish off this project.
