Welcome to the July Stampers By the Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are showcasing embossing folders. The 2020-2021 Annual Catalog features a variety of styles of embossing folders like 3D, narrow (6 1/4″ X 3 3/8″), and standard. We chose the Dandelion 3D Embossing Folder for this month’s project.

First, start with a 4 1/4 X 8 1/2″ piece of Soft Sea foam card stock. Then score the card stock on the 8 1/2″ side at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ to create an easel card. Next, cut a 4 1/4″ X 4 1/4″ piece of Soft Sea foam. Emboss the square with the Dandelions 3D Embossing Folder. Last, adhere the square, embossed piece to the first flap on the card base . Add a piece of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon to the card.

For the greeting, ink Sending Well Wishes Your Way from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set with Gray Granite and stamp the sentiment onto Whisper White card stock. Then cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  Next, stamp dnadenlions along the edge of the inside panel of the card using Soft Sea foam.  Then, place pearl basic jewels on top of the stamped images. Last, adhere the sentiment to the base with Stampin’ Seal.

Add 2 1/8 X 4 1/4″ strip of Gray Granite to the inside of the card just along the scored lines. Then stamp an 1 3/4 X 4″ strip of whisper white card stock with the single dandelion image from the set in Gray Granite and sponge with Soft Sea foam ink. Add a bit of Wink of Stella to the center of the dandelion. Last adhere the image to the Gray Granite with Stampin’ Seal.

When all of the steps are complete, you have space above the stamped sentiment to write a message. The easel card can be set on display by the recipient.
