Wishing Spring was in the air instead of the freezing temperatures we have in Illinois!
This Spring sampler combines all the features of the season.
The Fable Friends stamp set was used to create the stamped images of the sampler. Stampin’ Blends in Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Rococo Rose and Petal Pink add color to the images that were stamped in Memento ink. The Stitched So Sweetly dies were used to frame the rabbit and then the rectangle was mounted on Balmy Blue cardstock. Layering Squares Framelits were used to created the scalloped edge around the squirrel image. The square was mounted on a square of Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The layers were then adhered to a Blushing Bride square of cardstock. The goose and her goslings were fussy cut with paper snips. A strip of Granny Apple Green cardstock was stamped with the grass image using Granny Apple Green ink. This strip was placed on top of another pattern from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper. The dsp was adhered to a daffodil delight rectangle that was die cut using the Stitched Rectangles.
The Handlettered Prose Dies were used to cut the letters from Pleased as Punch DSP. The DSP was mounted on a rectangle of Highland Heather cardstock. Floral images were punched from the dsp using the small bloom punch that is available as a Sale-a-Bration item. The blooms were adhered to the title with mini dimensionals. Noble Peacock Rhinestones were added to the centers of the flowers.
The Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper has tulips, too. These images were punched out of the DSP along with the leaf images using the Tulip Builder Punch . Tulips were layered with cardstock images for petals. Highland Heather, Calypso Coral, and Blushing Bride cardstock was used for the tulips.
All images and layers were adhered to a 8″ X 8″ piece of Mango Melody cardstock. Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon was placed under the tulips.
The framed art is on display in hopes that Spring will come soon!
